Stay in a Cabin by the Potomac and Old Town Harpers Ferry

Relax in a cabin with your own personal shaded porch and if you want, near a crackling fire. Cabins are located on our private mountaintop, secured each evening at the gate for private access only to our campers and cabin guests.

A relaxing choice for our novice campers

Enjoy a cozy and peaceful camping experience in the privacy and security of your own unit. Each cabin comes equipped with A/C, picnic table, and a grill/fire ring combo. Our new bathhouse with hot showers and indoor plumbing is only a short walk away. Reserve firewood with your booking, and you can pick it up after checking in. Space heaters are also available for rental. Charcoal, propane tanks and fire starters can be purchased in our Bear Mountain Market on site. Guests need to bring their own air mattresses, sleeping bags and linens.

Friday – Saturday & Holidays $149.99 per night

September 6 – October 31
$89 per night

6% sales tax per unit plus $1 service fee per person extra.

NOTE: The person reserving the cabin, must be over the age of 25 years old.

Check In
Peak Season: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm      Non Peak Season: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
(Every guest must check in with the main office. Guests are NOT permitted to check in after 9:00 pm.)

Check Out
11:00 am
(Guests must remove all trash from cabin site. Messy campers will be charged an additional clean up fee.)

Amenities
Air conditioning, electricity, picnic table, and a grill/fire ring combo. Walking distance from bathhouse with indoor plumbing and hot showers, bounce pillow, Bear Mountain Market, multiple scenic overlook points and our private river access. (No pets allowed on HFAC property).

Size
Basic mountaintop cabins come with two sets of twin bunk-beds and a twin loft, comfortably sleeping 5.

Firewood
Please don’t bring firewood with you when you camp. If you find or buy wood, please don’t take any back home with you. Burn it all or give it to other campers. Foreign pests can travel with wood, and carrying firewood from one area to another can be detrimental to the local forest. We have firewood to purchase, or you can collect wood/ kindling from down trees at the cabin site.
