							Went on a tubing float with a large group of friends over Labor Day weekend. Harpers Ferry Adventure Center was accommodating, offered excellent pricing for military, the staff was very friendly and they had everything covered if you didn't come as prepared. They kept your phones and keys for free if you wanted them to, there were water shoes available inside, the rafts were well maintained and staff gave very thorough instructions on how to have the best/safest time on the water.They take you back on an old military truck, which made the experience even more unique.Pro Tip: There's a brewery next door with an amazing view (sunset), so be sure to stop by after your float.

							We had a wonderful whitewater rafting experience with Harpers Ferry Adventure Center. Our guide Spyder was awesome and friendly - he gave us clear safety instructions and was always attentive. When I fell into the water, he quickly pulled me back into the raft. When I felt wobbly while sitting, he showed me how to fold one leg inward for better support, which made me feel much more secure.We also stopped at a spot where we could float on our backs with our toes up and let the water gently carry us downstream. I was a little nervous at first, but the trip was very beginner-friendly, safe, and enjoyable. I had a great time and would definitely recommend it!

							Jeremy was an expert guide! Rafting the Potomac on class I-III rapids past historic Harpers Ferry was epic. Added bonus was swimming through rapids & jumping into the river. Hot showers made exploring nearby sites after rafting a breeze!

							10/10! It was our first time white water rafting and our experience was amazing! The entire staff is very kind. We had Connor as our guide with Jeremy assisting behind us in case any of us fell! However, in the end I did find it to be a fun and safe thing to do with our 7 and 13 year old. They loved it! We even had a chance to jump in the water to freshen up. Highly recommend! Thank you Connor and Jeremy !

							This whole rafting experience was great! The river is beautiful and the guides are organized and skilled. I rafted with my kids who are new to white water. The instruction was good and the kids loved every moment!The adventure center provides a number of different experiences that are great for families with a range of physical abilities. Encourage anyone to talk with the main office to discuss what type of activities would work for the needs of their specific group.

							We went on the flat water tubing adventure and had such a fun time. Everyone enjoyed it and we will definitely be back again. They gave us little ropes to tie our tubes together which was nice. I packed a small dry bag with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and Gatorade’s to picnic on the water. Not necessary because it’s not a super long float but the kids appreciated it.

							Wonderful experience.My 11-year-old son and I were last-minute add-ons for whitewater rafting on Wednesday, August 12. From first contact, to ordering tickets, to checking in, the desk staff were kind and professional. They called me back when they said they would and were accommodating when we arrived.Our river guide, Spider, was terrific. He was patient with my son who asked lots of questions on almost everything, and with me as we navigated the river. He was knowledgeable about the river life, the geography, and the history of the area. And he was fun. My son, who can be a bit neurotic at times, had a blast because Spider made it easy to. My son got into the river and swam, something I didn't expect but was pleased to see.All of the support staff -- including the drivers -- were great. All were attentive and professional.And a great perk of going on the river with HFAC is that they pick you up from the end of the river course. We didn't have to schlepp the raft up a steep hill, without shoes, in the 90-degree heat. Sounds like a joke, but I've done other rafting trips with other rafting services and that's what we've had to do.The bath house/changing area is clean. It's not antiseptic clean -- so if you're one of those, be prepared-- but it's clean enough, and the grounds are well maintained.All-in-all, we had a great experience and my son and I highly recommend!

							We had a fantastic experience whitewater rafting, and a huge part of that was our guide, Wolfgang. He was incredibly knowledgeable—not only about rafting and the river, but also about the local history and the area itself. We learned so much along the way, and his stories and insights made the excursion feel like so much more than just a rafting trip. Wolfgang was fun, engaging, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made everyone feel comfortable and kept the experience exciting while also making sure we felt safe. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better experience. Highly recommend!

							Well maintained center. We went for white water river rafting this weekend and our experience was good. Our raft guide Adrianna was super amazing, fun to interact with, shared a lot of good info, patient, answered various questions asked by the kids, very energetic and full of good vibes. It’s a good option during summer time of specially for kids to enjoy, the rapids are basic, not very moving or bumpy, but yes it’s a good adventure to try.
