The Mountain...
is our pride and joy and grand plans for the site have been in the works for over 6 years. We are making small steps to a grand vision, and are ready to open the starting gates to you, THIS season!
To start, we are opening our brand new Zip Line Tour at this location, which will be available in April. The Mountain is also the location of our exclusive private take out, which we use for designated white water trips.
Also coming soon on The Mountain: concerts, weddings, private and public events, and many other activities will follow on our new property.
We look forward to having you join us on our new venture and future endeavors.
A little Mountain history?
The Mountain facility formerly named the Blue Ridge Rod and Gun Club, in its glory day, was used by prominent DC folks for parties and gatherings since late 1920’s. The Club burned down twice. The ruins from the second fire on November 20, 1975 are what remain.The property was previously owned by Clarke Construction and is now owned by Heffner Properties, llc. and is composed of a total of 58.8 amazing acres, including river frontage on the Potomac River, and amazing views of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
